You'll meet a Guardian which carries a shield in the next group of enemies. Press right on the analog stick to choose one of your upgrades then hit A. Use it, then select your SMG (or equip it if you haven't) and press X to mod it. To the right of the door you just came through is a weapon bench. Go through the door and then pick up the SMG upgrade by a body in this room. The ensuing scene will shed some light on what happened here. Jump over the wall under the glass you broke and use the environmental controls to your right. Kill them all and then turn right (facing the glass) to find a SMG scope on the counter. Follow the path to find a data pad on the floor, and then go down the stairs to find some guys behind the glass. After using the ladder, jump across the platform to the right and then enter the door on the left. Follow the path to another ladder, and pick up the armor next to it before going up. You'll find yourself outside, use the ladder to the left. Afterward use the computer to the right of your newest squadmate, then go through the door you guys opened. Again, it's up to you if you want to use it but bear in mind the penalty to powers.

You'll find some gloves on the shelf and a SMG in the back. In the next room turn left at the benches and go into the small room. Use the ramp near the vehicle that just lifted and climb up the boxes (double tap A), then jump on the car, and then climb the railing on top the platform. You'll find a vehicle lift console nearby, use it. You can use this to lift enemies off the ground for the Sky High achievement, so be sure to spam it. After that, follow the path while killing dudes until you reach the building, then hit the elevator button.Īfterward James will be replaced by someone new, who has the singularity power. Whoever survived Virmire in ME1 will walk up to a body near the rifle, hold the right stick in to look at what they are scanning to get some experience and progress.

It's up to you whether you want to equip it or not. So, equipping the sniper rifle will give a hefty penalty to recharge time. Despite not mattering at all in Mass Effect 1 and 2, having heavy weapons magically makes your powers take longer to recharge, because screw you. You are given the option to change your load out and add the sniper rifle. Go through the gap to fall down and find a weapon and a body.

Start out by walking out of the ship and going forward to find a fence.
